We'd like to thank everyone who attended our recent 3D Scanning and Printing demonstration and consultation day. Throughout the morning, attendees got the opportunity to see the full reverse engineering process, with real-time hardware and software demonstrations, as well as get expert advice from the team at Mintronics and Alex Jarvis, 3D Product Specialist at Artsystems.
As always with our demonstration and consultation days we were interested to see the sheer variety of industries and applications that can utilise 3D scanning and reverse engineering technologies from classic car restoration, to oil rig pipeline inspections. Below is what one of our attendees had to say about these events along with some images from our most recent demonstration and consultation day:
"I attended so that I could get some hands-on experience with the scanners and software. It was fascinating to see how seamless the transition was from having a physical component to scanning it and manipulating it on screen. Having the products presented by people who use them daily in a work context was also excellent as I felt I got a far more representative "real world" use case rather than merely a sales pitch. It was also very interesting seeing the wide array of various problems other attendees had brought that scanning was capable of solving; from medical, mechanical, oil industries and even jewellery; I found it very informative to see the scope of solutions 3D scanning offers beyond my own field of automotive and motorsport use."
From our point of view, these informal demonstration and consultation days are a great way to explore the different problems this technology can solve, and the very real impact it can have on business performance. We're also thrilled at the positive feedback we've received from attendees who seem find the events as useful as we do!
We will be holding these days throughout the year across the UK. Places for these free demonstration and consultation days fill up quickly, so if you'd like us to inform you of upcoming events as and when they're confirmed, just follow the link below to register your interest.
